... to Exchange Studios! Established in 2010, this wood-working shop turned chic Photography studio makes a great addition to the Winnipeg Art community. For the first while, the studio was used mainly for my own portrait work. Now that the Renovations are almost complete, we've opened it up for other photographers to work in.
11+ different backdrops ranging from exposed brick to a baroque-chic damask wall and seamless paper, you'll find a location for every idea you can come up with. The studio would not be complete without an area for preparation and beautifying. We have two lit vanity stations with plugins for all your hair tools, space for all your kits and room to spare.
With over 1200 square feet of space, not only is it a perfect location for all levels of photographers, it's affordable for everyone from students to professionals with appointments available from as little as 2 hours to an all day booking.
In the heart of the Winnipeg Art District, Exchange Studios is the perfect setting for your next indoor shoot.. and your next.. and your next!
Not only does the space itself pose a fabulous location, the surrounding area provides a chic city setting with cobblestone roads, turn-of-the-century buildings and a little park-like area next to "The Cube".
With a variety of restaurants and cafés nearby, you're sure to find refreshment and nourishment before, during and after your shoot.
But what about parking? I hate parking downtown! No problem. Parking is easily found on surrounding streets. If you don't want to bother with parking meters, use the parkade just around the corner at King & Bannatyne.
